Happy Monday!

Well, this weekend was busy, as usual. Two birthday parties, a wedding shower, church and yardwork! Whew! I am tired all over again just thinking about it! hehehehe
I DID get to do some crafting, though. Here are a few new things....

This card was inspired by a lady that came to look at my cards at the Library Fund Raiser. She asked if I had anything with Lighthouses. I remembered this stamp set by Our Daily Bread Designs and thought it would be perfect! I used my MS Picket Fence Border Punch to accessorize the look. The CS is corner punched with the Fiskars Heritage Corner Punch.

Here are the Copic colors I used to create this image. I was going for a night-time look, not sure if I pulled it off, but I think it looks nice.

I layered the image with soft grey and royal blue CS and some soft blue/green DP from my stash...not sure what the name/maker is. I used paper flowers and gemstone brads from Spare Parts to embellish.

Don't you love this scripture? I know I do...it reminds me that no matter what is going on in my life, God is present and in control. I can rest in His peace knowing that He takes care of all my needs.

I followed the theme from the front to the inside and used my MS Picket Fence Border Punch again to just give it that little extra "something."

Blessings!

Shannon, love the card. It is so pretty. You do such a nice job coloring. I'm not sure I'd have the patience.

Today's word is terar...which is probably what it would look like if I tried to color it.

Hi Shannon
love the card it looks so summery and bright. The NEC(National Exhibition Centre) is where we all go to buy our crafty goodies, it has over 100 craft stalls all in one building and is a great day out but expensive one and also very tiring but well worth it. we have one twice a year and it is only 1/2 hour away from where i live. Olympia is another one but in London the same thing just different location, if you go down on my blog you will see what i bought from the NEC.
hugs Debra xx
